here’s a little story i thought i’d share with you:
once upon a time, there was a little girl who fell in love with all things fashion and beauty at a very young age. she asked for her very first fashion magazine at age 11 (it was ‘allure’, with none other than kate moss on the cover). from then on, fashion became somewhat of an obsession. by the time she was 12, she knew who jimmy choo, dior and ysl were. so when the time came for her first ball (high school prom) she was ready to go all out. she had fallen in love with a pair of jimmy choo ‘juliet’ shoes and was determined to make them her own. so she saved. and saved. and worked. and slowly, over the course of a year, she started to save up enough money to buy them for herself. she will never forget the feeling of walking out of the jimmy choo store with a brand new pair of gorgeous heels. the best part was that she had bought them for herself. apparently she cried after walking out of the store (according to her fairy godmother), but let’s just skip over that part.
finally at the ball in a long silk black dress, she danced the night away in her golden shoes. and the best part was that they were comfortable!! and with her first pair of jimmy choos tucked neatly inside their beautiful box, she fell asleep dreaming of couture dresses and extravagant shoes.
next up on her list? a deliciously rich cognac prada bag.
